AstraIA · Astrology with astronomical precision

Discover your Birth Chart

Enter your date, time and city of birth. AstraIA calculates the exact sky of that moment with Swiss Ephemeris, inside your own browser, and turns it into a clear interpretation. Then you can talk to the assistant about your chart and today's transits.

  • Planets and points: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, lunar Nodes, Chiron and Lilith.
  • Houses and angles: Placidus system (Whole Sign at extreme latitudes), Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant and Imum Coeli.
  • Aspects: conjunction, sextile, square, trine and opposition with their orbs.
  • Forecasts: what the stars say today, the coming months with exact dates and a downloadable calendar, planetary returns, solar return, progressions, lunations and eclipses.
  • Synastry and composite chart: compare your chart with another person's, with a double wheel and cross aspects.
  • Privacy: your date, time and city never leave your device. The assistant only receives positions that have already been calculated.

How your birth chart is calculated

The birth chart is the photograph of the sky at the exact moment and place of your birth. AstraIA converts your local time to Universal Time using the historical rules of your city's time zone (including daylight-saving changes), calculates the planets' positions with the Swiss Ephemeris and places the houses with the Placidus system. Everything happens in your browser; there are no third-party servers.

The signs follow the tropical zodiac, the one most used in Western astrology. Each planet is described by its sign, degree, house and motion (direct or retrograde), and the aspects between them are measured with configurable orbs. If you do not know the exact time, use 12:00: the planets will be correct, but the Ascendant and the houses will be approximate.
